Totally Rad and Ready to Pour
Bench 1775 is dialing it back to the days of synth beats, scrunchies and shoulder pads with an ’80s-themed silent disco on Friday, May 16 — and yes, it’s happening under the stars with Lake Okanagan as your backdrop.
The vineyard transforms into the valley’s most scenic dance floor (with a 180° lake view,) where DJ Shakes will be spinning retro favourites straight to your headset. You’ll be dancing in neon silence, sipping wine made steps from where the grapes were grown, and watching the sun sink behind Naramata’s western ridge — because some nights deserve more than a playlist.
Your ticket includes two drink tokens, plenty of fresh bites with an Asian-inspired twist, and your own disco headset for the evening. Keep your eyes open for some of Bench 1775’s favourite pours — perhaps a crisp Pinot Gris, a splash of Viognier, or something pink and playful to match the glow of the dance floor.
And if you’re coming from Penticton, Bench 1775 has you covered with a complimentary round-trip shuttle from Lakeside Resort. It leaves at 5:45 and returns after the party at 10:15 — first come, first served.
Dress up. Dance hard. Sip something stellar. Because let’s face it — a silent disco in wine country is the kind of throwback we’re here for.
